Sheldon Inwentash and his wife Lynn Factor have worked together for years to support organizations dedicated to making a positive impact, especially on the lives of children. Lynn, who has a background in social work, has even had an award named in her honour by the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada.

$15M gift for Social Work Program at University of Toronto

Calling it a tribute to his wife and a chance to give back to his alma mater for launching him into a successful career, entrepreneur Sheldon Inwentash yesterday donated $15 million to the faculty of social work at the University of Toronto. It’s being hailed as the largest-ever gift of its kind in North America.

The Lynn Factor Stand Up for Kids National Award

One of Lynn Factor’s passion projects is working with the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada to help improve the lives of children across the country.
